Inside this room, you'll notice a set of computer terminals on the right-hand side. These are your first objective triggers. Interact with them to access the researchers' logs. This step is essential, as it advances the quest and unlocks your next objective inside the same area.

Finding the Hidden Seed Vault Key

Once you've accessed the workstation and reviewed the logs, the game will prompt you to backtrack slightly into the previous room. Don't leave the area yet-you still have an important item to collect.

Look beside the large central computer structure. There should be a rack filled with hanging research suits. Search this rack carefully, as this is where the hidden Seed Vault Box Key is located. Interact with it to collect the key.

This item is mandatory for progression, so make sure it's added to your inventory before continuing. Without it, you won't be able to access the locked seed storage later in the quest.

Powering the Seed Vault Entrance

Now that you have the key, your next objective is to gain full access to the Seed Vault interior. The entrance is sealed behind large shutter doors that require a Power Cell to activate.

Fortunately, the Power Cell is usually nearby. In most runs, it can be found within or around the same computer room where you picked up the key. If it's not immediately visible, check the floor and adjacent corners of the room before moving on.

Once you locate it, pick up the Power Cell and carry it toward the main Seed Vault door. Approach the control panel and install the cell to restore power. This will activate the shutter mechanism and open the entrance.

Be prepared here-once the door opens, you may encounter a few hostile "Ticks" inside. These small enemies can quickly overwhelm you if ignored, so clear them out before proceeding deeper into the facility.

Unlocking the Seed Deposit Box

With the Seed Vault now accessible, move carefully toward the back section of the facility. Your next objective is the Seed Deposit Station.

This is a specialized interaction point where you can use the Seed Vault Box Key you collected earlier. Approach the station and interact with it to unlock the seed storage container.

Once unlocked, search the Seed Deposit Box thoroughly. After completing the interaction, the quest item-the Official Shutdown Documentation-will drop to the ground nearby.

Pick it up immediately. It's highly recommended to place it in a safe pocket or secure inventory slot to avoid losing it if you get into combat or need to extract quickly.

Extracting and Returning to Speranza

With the Official Shutdown Documentation secured, your final step is to extract safely from the area. Make your way back through the Seed Vault and head toward the nearest exit route.

The most convenient extraction point is the Seed Vault Airshaft, which is located just down the hall from the main facility. Once you reach it, use it to return to Speranza.

After successful extraction, you can turn in the quest to Shani and complete Last Entry. This will also clear the way for you to move on to other ongoing objectives, such as the High-Gain Antenna Project and additional Flashpoint missions.
